POA Core Main Testnet
Testing Environment for the POA Core network.
The Sokol Testnet provides an application testing environment for developers planning to use the Ethereum POA Core network.
DApp testing for PAO Core via the Sokol testnet uses a native token called SPOA. SPOA tokens are distributed in increments of 100 and can be purchased via the Sokol Faucet.

Ethereum Mainnet is the largest EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) network to date. The Proof-of-Work network was established in July 2015. Ethereum Mainnet is an open source, blockchain-based distributed computing platform and operating system featuring smart contract functionality.
POA Core is an Ethereum-EVM-based autonomous blockchain network that is secured by a group of trusted validators. All validators are US notaries with publicly available information.
xDai was originally an Ethereum-EVM-based proof-of-authority chain that used an authority round (AuRa) consensus mechanism, supported by Parity and Nethermind. Nowadays, xDai has evolved into a permissionless delegated proof-of-stake based consensus with POSDAO. It used the stablecoin Dai (bridged from Ethereum Mainnet) as its native currency, and is therefore sometimes referred to as a “stable(coin) chain”.
